About Me

Macy Rockey is a freelance filmmaker and content creator based in Austin, Texas.

Born and raised outside of Houston, Macy moved to Austin in the fall of 2020 to attend the University of Texas. She graduated with a bachelor of science in Radio-Television-Film in the spring of 2024.

As a production designer, Macy draws from over a decade of fine arts training to create thoughtful, story-driven visuals. Since graduation, she has lead art departments for music videos, independent films and commercial ads, earning a reputation for her dependability and artistic sense.

Alongside filmmaking, Macy enjoys working in the digital media space. She began managing social media campaigns during school to support her student films, later expanding into content creation for local brands and businesses. She has produced work for clients including Nova hospitality, Haus of B. Pilates Studio, and Signpost Speech and Language Therapy.

Across all her work, Macy is driven by a passion for visual storytelling. Whether it be working on set or editing social media content, Macy brings creativity, adaptability and artisty to all her projects.
